…and that’s just what we’ll do.

March 30, 2013 will be the last day you will have regular access to our one-of-a-kind authentic Pakistani food at the Boardwalk on Bulverde (BoB) food truck park.

Why? Well, we realize that our food truck has wheels and there are quite a few folks around San Antonio who have not had a chance to taste our amazing food. So, we’re embracing the essential benefit of being a food truck and becoming truly mobile so we can share our addictive samosas, “The Tony” and our other tasty bites all over town. You just might see us on the highway heading to our next location, or we may even turn up for the day at another area food truck park. (For example, we’ll be at The Point on Boerne Stage Road in April!)

We truly appreciate all of our loyal BoB customers along with Cameron, Josh and the crew at Cruising Kitchens/BoB and we hope you will look for us around town starting on April 1. ( And no, this is NOT an April Fool’s joke!)

Keith Hill from K-Hill BBQ Company & Sameer Siddiqui from Rickshaw Stop spear-headed the San Antonio Food Truck Association by creating a non-profit 501(c) in 2012 with the hopes of organizing and unifying the local food truck, trailer and cart vendors into a single, united community. The goal of the association is to bring professionalism and credibility to the Mobile Food industry in San Antonio. With the help of Jon Lindskog (Cheesy Jane’s), Joseph Jackson (Lagniappe Today) and Neil Hajji (Wheelie Gourmet & Culture Cafe) membership by-laws have been written, including a code of conduct & ethics, and SAFTA is now accepting membership applications. As with any other trade association, we will offer a full array of services and benefits to our members.

Membership Levels:

1. Founder members. Provides full association benefits for food truck owners only.
2. Associate members. Provides no voting rights, but is open is to anyone. 

Please keep in mind we are a new organization and we will all grow together. Whether a rookie or seasoned veteran, we highly recommend attending one of our meetings for further information.

We’ll have our entire menu (including Tahiri Rice AND Baklava!) so even if you don’t have a kiddo in the tourney, bring a blanket, stop by for a TONY (or 2) & enjoy some tasty lunch in the park!

We will be open TODAY (Saturday, 11/24) at the Boardwalk on Bulverde [MAP] for Lunch (12-3pm) & Dinner (6-10pm).

We have 2 very large caterings this weekend (1 is for 100 people, the other is for FIVE HUNDRED!) so we will NOT be open for dinner at Boardwalk on Bulverde on Friday OR Saturday (11/2 & 11/3).

HOWEVER: We WILL be open for Lunch at Boardwalk on Bulverde on Saturday! We aren’t sure what time yet, so be sure to check our Facebook or Twitter page for updates closer to noon on Saturday.
